Daniel Bates is a long-time veteran of the Audio-Visual Industry. At the age of 11-years-old he started running sound at his church, where he remained on the technical staff into his early 20’s. In high school, Daniel evolved his love for the industry by running a recording studio, teaching an audio course at his local high school, and operating sound at conferences and church services.

After high school, Daniel worked as a production engineer and logistics manager for a local production company, managing the rental inventory for 11 stores. He also spent time mixing for concerts and corporate events for Washington’s attorney general reelection campaign, multiple country artists, and even some American Idol shows.

In his early 20’s, Daniel transitioned into the installation side of the business where he honed his skills working on six & seven figure A/V projects for performing arts centers, higher ed facilities, and corporate clients. After receiving his 06 electrical license and multiple other industry certifications, Daniel made the move to management, becoming a partner at a systems integration company in the greater Seattle area. There he was part of a team that facilitated system design and installation and wrote and installed the manual for large retail chains. These systems were pushed out nationwide for clients such as Starbucks, Old Navy & Abercrombie brands.

In 2014, Daniel founded Bates Integrations, breaking into new verticals and completing projects with apartment complexes, multi-location church remodels, and six-figure multi-year residential projects. Daniel has been at the helm through a 20% + year-over-year growth and has taken the company through a complete rebrand. “Thinking back over my 15 years in the industry, I’m grateful for the people with whom I’ve been able to work and the unique projects on which I’ve been involved.
